  1. Anja Ginge Jensen spillede sig tirsdag i semifinalen ved verdensmesterskabet i bowling, i Las Vegas, USA. Anja væltede 1347 kegler på de 6 indledende serier (det er et snit på 224,5 kegler!), og er kvalificeret til semifinalen som nummer 3. Med hende i semifinalen følger, Stefanie Nation, USA, Sandra Gongora, Mexico, og Krista Pollanen, Finland. Semifinalen og finalen spilles torsdag aften.
    De øvrige danskere blev placeret som følgende:

  2. Danmark har sikret sig endnu en medalje ved verdensmesterskabet for damer i Las Vegas USA. Anne Gales og Rikke Rasmussen spillede sig natten mellem onsdag og torsdag dansk tid, sig ind i top 4 og kvalificerede sig derfor til semifinalen, der spilles sent torsdag aften dansk tid.
    På vejen til semifinalen lavede Anne Gales 1251 på 6 serier, og Rikke Rasmussen imponerende 1357, Rikke var i double disciplinen den anden bedste individuelle spiller af alle spillere. Den danske double går til semifinalen som nummer 3.
    Lige ved og næsten
    Dog gik det ikke lige så heldigt til for Danmarks anden double, bestående af Kamilla Kjeldsen, og Mai Ginge Jensen. De danske damer, lå længe til at følge Rikke og Anne i finalen, men efter en halv dårlig sidste serie måtte danskerne tage til takke med 5. pladsen. Sølle 1 kegle efter den finalegivende 4. plads.
