Merlene Ottey deltager ved EM i Atletik for Slovenien:
The Athletic Federation of Slovenia has confirmed its national team for the European Championships in Barcelona. Among the 33 athletes 50-year old Merlene Ottey is also to be found. She will be part of the Slovenian 4 x 100 metre relay team, which has a season best time of 45.34 sec.
EM afholdes i Barcelona fra den 27.juli til den 01 august. Merlene Ottey debuterede ved OL i Moskva i 1980 og vandt en bronzemedalje på 200 meter.
