Exes and Ohs – a lesbian sitcomedramedy

Når folk nu alligevel har så travlt med at torrente og youtube de nye afsnit af The L Word, så tjek også lige Exes and Ohs ud!

Begge er lebbe-shows, hvor en gruppe storby-lebbeveninder (i dette tilfælde er storbyen knap så stor: Seattle), af forskellige typer (det lykkelige par, den lidende kunstner, den neurotisk-sjove med ondt i kæresteriet samt fuck-’em-and-leave-’em lækkerbuxen) deler glæder og sorger og tit og ofte hænger ud sammen på stamcafeen.

Men hvor The L Word er soapy drama (og varer en time), er Exes and Ohs mere sitcom-agtig, (og varer kun en halv). Lidt ligesom forskellen på ER og Scrubs, som godt nok begge er doctor-shows og handler om folk, der arbejder sammen på et hospital, om deres venskaber, ups & downs osv … Men som ikke liiiige holder den samme stil.

Exes and Ohs første sæson, som Logo Channel viste i USA i efteråret, er på kun 6 afsnit, og kan både torrentes og ses i bidder på YouTube

Serien er baseret på en kortfilm fra 2002, The Ten Rules (A Lesbian Survival Guide), som også kan ses i bidder på YouTube

Helena gets tossed into jail for ripping off Catherine; Jenny finagles a chance to direct the movie of her book, leading her and Tina to butt heads; Shane’s promiscuity successfully sabotages her plan to move in with Paige; and Bette’s welcome-home gesture to Jodi backfires.
